Moolah Circus

Rachel, Nolan, Lucas and I all went to the Moolah circus this evening. It has been years since I went to the circus. It was a good time for us all. A little long for the boys but the last act was the motorcycles in the cage so there was no leaving early.

This is as close as I will ever get to a snake and this was still too close for me. Lucas would not touch it, but I think that was my doing since he saw how frightened I was. I even tried to be really brave and thought about going to touch it so Lucas would not be afraid, but I just could not get myself to do it. But at least I thought about it right?

Lucas got his face painted as Spider-Man and Nolan was a clown. The boys I think had a great night, they are extremely tired now. The fun adventures we get to experience with out kids, I love every minute of it.

Flashback Friday

Jake and I just celebrated our 5 year anniversary last Friday. Times sures does fly. Here is the picture that was taken when Jake proposed to me in front of the Belagio Hotel in Las Vegas. It was amazing. When he proposed the fountains were going off and it was playing Luck be a Lady in the backround.

We are going to Vegas in 12 days, April 7th with our good friends Jill and Jr who were also there with us when we got engaged. We are all renewing our vows in Vegas on this trip. Jake and I for our 5 years and Jr and Jill for the 25 years later this year.

It has been a great couple weeks here with all the nice weather we have been having. Some days have been absolutely gorgeous out. Makes for a nice evening too when the boys come in and are wiped out from playing so much and they crash. I have been so busy with work and home that I am ready to crash by that time too. Most of the time we will meet Susan and Sean outside and the boys will just run around getting some exercise. Lucas is the entertainment for the little ones.

I am so glad that spring is finally here, but unfortunately with spring comes the April showers. We are in for some rain apparently all weekend which stinks, but Monsters vs Aliens comes out tomorrow so we will be seeing that on saturday. You know us, always on the go doing something. But other than a movie and a soccer game, we have nothing else on the agenda.

Nice relaxing weekend, I am really looking forward to.

Soccer

Lucas had his first soccer game yesterday and it was an awesome day for it. Everyone came out to see him play; Grandmom, Granddad, Nolan, June and Bob.

It was very exciting that he is finally starting sports. We just have to work on not pushing when someone has the ball and he is trying to take it from them. But for his first time playing he is doing great.

Here comes Spring

The last two days have been gorgeous here. Yesterday it was in the low 80's. It is suppose to be warm today also, but with rain. I just hope the rain holds off until tonight, both of the boys are loving being outside playing.

Yesterday we went to the park with Susan and Sean. The babies had a great time. I have to say it is difficult keeping an eye on 2 kids over one.

Lucas was a big help though, he took the boys down the slide and helped push Noah on the swings. He just wanted to be on the bigger playground, which I can't blame him. It had the bigger slides and much more for him to do.

Noah just explored everything, crawling through the tunnels, climbing on everything and mostly trying to crawl up the slides. Which he did finally accomplish on one of them. It was a small one, but he still made it up. I was surprised.

Hopefully spring will be here soon, the last couple days have been great. The boys get out, run off energy and are ready for bed when it is time.
